Journey with AUS

After compiling a database of MWBE/WBE/DBE firms and other professional organizations, Adisa Communications assisted in the planning, management, promotion, and day-of event coordination for the first Industry Day event in April 2023. A second Industry Day event was scheduled for November and was set to build on the impact of the first event. As planning continued, Adisa Communications was responsible for marketing, promoting, and providing day-of event logistics and support to the AUS team. Additionally, Adisa Communications supported the AUS AEDP team by providing virtual and in-person event coordination and communication for three pre-Industry Day events happening in July, August, and September. To garner awareness for procurement opportunities and increase the number of interested businesses and contractors in attending the pre-Industry Day and Industry Day events, the Adisa team completed the following outreach and communications activities:

• Compiled a database for outreach to prime and sub-contractors, professional organizations and aviation-related companies to promote the AEDP and related events
• Designed promotional flyers, social media graphics and save the dates for pre-Industry Day and Industry Day events
• Provided social media copy for promotion of the pre-Industry Day events
• Completed site visits and walkthroughs of event spaces for the planned in-person events

The first Industry Day event welcomed more than 400 attendees who engaged in multiple workshop sessions to learn more about the upcoming procurement opportunities.
