183A Toll Road Community Engagement

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority and Texas Department of Transportation needed event planning for the 183A Toll Road groundbreaking and a community event that would engage and educate the residents. Adisa Communications planned and executed the groundbreaking ceremony as well as an additional community event to educate residents on the project’s public involvement goals. Adisa team members delivered results in event planning, vendor coordination, and on-site support. The groundbreaking ceremony set the tone for a special new event, Children’s Day, hosted by the Mobility Authority that generated media attention and enhanced community engagement for the transportation infrastructure initiative.

Situation

Groundbreaking ceremony for major transportation infrastructure project and associated event planning was needed for the 183A Toll Road.

Solution

Adisa Communications worked closely with the developer to plan and execute the project’s groundbreaking ceremony and the Mobility Authority’s first Children’s Day event.

Outcome

The Mobility Authority Children’s Day event received media attention from every local news source and was attended by 200 people.
