During tax-free weekend in August Adisa Communications partnered with the 183 North Mobility Project to give back to communities impacted by the project. Our firm has been working alongside Great Hills Constructors since the groundbreaking in 2021.
Held at the Great Hills Market complex, attendees were treated to free sno-cones, raffle prizes, and an opportunity to view the project’s final visualization video on YouTube. Gift cards were raffled every 30 minutes from stores found along the 183 North corridor including Petco, T.J. Maxx, and Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids.
As part of the back-to-school theme, more than 30 teachers were nominated for Lakeshore gift cards, with three winners selected.
“The response from the community was gracious and positive. We look forward to continuing our support for the 183 North Mobility Project,” says Angie Posada, Community Relations representative for the project and Project Manager at Adisa Communications.
We know the ongoing construction creates headaches and delays for drivers and businesses along the corridor, adds Posada. “It’s fun to connect with Austinites and share information about the transportation improvements.”
