Welcome Adisa Communication’s Newest Intern – Minoo Ha!

Adisa Communications: Introduce yourself! How did you end up at UT?
Minoo Ha: Hi, my name is Minoo and I am a senior at UT studying Advertising with a minor in Business. I will be graduating in Fall 2020. I was born and raised in Oregon and attended George Fox University as a student-athlete (football) prior to UT. After my first semester at GFU, I realized that I didn’t want to play football anymore and that I wanted to leave my home state. UT was the first school on my list thanks to some convincing from my cousin, who is a Texas Ex. With the help from my relatives in Texas, I set out on my journey to transfer to UT. Long story short, I withdrew from GFU after a semester and drove to Texas by myself (week-long trip). I wanted to earn my in-state residency so I got a serving job and my own apartment, while also attending Houston Community College. Within eight months, I successfully transferred to UT as an in-state resident.
